Good Tech Fest, an excellent conference on data and technology for organizations within the social sector, takes place this year in Chicago, May 21-23. We love Data Analysts for Social Good, the organizers of the event! This year, Build’s own Peter Mirus will be presenting two sessions at the conference.

11:00am – 12:30pm May 22

An exploration of the dimensions of data quality—completeness, validity and accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and integrity—interwoven with impact examples from the nonprofit and public sectors. You will learn a structure for how to qualify “what makes good data good.”

How to Create an Information Strategy for Your Organization
2:00pm – 3:30pm May 22

Learn how to think about and apply the five essential aspects of a good information strategy: leadership/governance, operations, process, data, and technology. Identify areas to strengthen your organization’s current approach to information management.
