Her comprehensive background in building and cultivating business relationships, as well as her ability to use creativity and problem-solving skills, make her an asset to any project she joins.

Background and Affiliations
Aisha Maroon joined Build from the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation, where she took on the challenge of reigniting the NPS Alumni Association which had been dormant since 2014. She then moved to stewarding foundation-funded research by re-engineering donor engagement and project development processes to maximize giving opportunities while also innovating the procedures for managing research projects.
In her over ten-year career, Aisha has worked with notable associations such as the San Diego Marketing Association and The Monterey County Conventions and Visitors Bureau, managing marketing and membership constituent relations. She has also worked in the food service industry at Cuisine Solutions, which is a premium foods company that specializes in the sous-vide method of cooking and meal preparation, as their Sales Representative for National Chain Accounts. Being a military spouse has given her a variety of opportunities to engage different industries.
Aisha Maroon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus in Public Relations from the University of Hawaii, as well as Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
Originally, Aisha started working with associations in a marketing capacity before moving to project management in the not-for-profit realm. She has managed projects that range from CRM system replacements to design and launch of organizational websites.
