David has worked with more than 100 nonprofit organizations over 20+ years, both serving in nonprofit leadership and as a consultant. David focuses on Technology Strategy, Data Strategy and Data Governance, AI Readiness and Roadmaps, CRM Systems Strategy, and Nonprofit Systems Assessments.

David has deep experience with large, federated, and geographically distributed nonprofits, where technology and data decisions must work across chapters, affiliates, and national offices. He has served as a client adviser on complex implementations, and his recent work includes AI roadmaps, data transformation, and data governance engagements for large nonprofit organizations.

David served as Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where he built an enterprise IT organization and transformed the Society’s core CRM and data systems serving 42 chapters. He was then promoted to Executive Vice President of Internal Operations. David has served large, distributed organizations as interim CIO, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital/ALSAC, the National Audubon Society, and the American Lung Association.
