What’s it like to work at Build?
We’re building a great company—one equally committed to enriching the nonprofit technology ecosystem and the lives of our team members.
We each bring diverse perspectives and experiences, but we share a common belief that:
- Work should have an element of fun/play
- We should make time to build great relationships within our team
- We are passionately independent in our work
We’re looking for committed team members who are equally passionate about building a great company, transforming nonprofits, and transforming the world.
We work hard to ensure that every team member feels supported and encouraged to have a healthy balance between work and personal commitments. We don’t pester you in the evenings or on weekends—we respect your life outside of Build.
Our company headquarters are in Washington, DC. However, many of us work remotely with clients or from home offices. We create opportunities to create connectivity among our team through the use of technology and in-person meetings.
We strive to build a diverse and inclusive environment where we can bring our unique talents and perspectives to enrich our work and our impact we have on our clients.
Our benefits include:
- Generous time off (20 days of paid leave and 10 paid holidays)
- 401(k) employer matching contributions (4% match)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Long-term disability
- Phone/internet stipend
- Co-working reimbursement
- Employer-sponsored volunteerism
What doesn’t fit neatly under a bullet point is perhaps one of our most cherished benefits: the opportunity to learn. We value, promote, and create formal and informal learning opportunities for all of our team members.
It is the policy of Build to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
Build Consulting’s goal is to increase representation of women, people of color, veterans, and individuals with disabilities in our company and the broader technology sector.
