Comprehensive Technology Roadmap for a Nonprofit Helping Solve Complex Problems

The Story

A national nonprofit focused on addressing critical and complex societal issues through convening and facilitation services connected with Build to conduct a CRM assessment. Early in the assessment, Build and the organization recognized that the scope needed to be broadened to include the full technology landscape. Further, the organization acknowledged that it needed a clear vision of how technology was going to support the mission moving forward, and how that would help support leadership and staff at all levels perform effectively in their roles. 

Build completed a full organizational assessment that mapped the entire constituent journey from marketing to project closeout. Build identified areas where institutional knowledge was siloed and detailed processes to resolve these issues. The full technology roadmap provided steps to replace certain sections of the current technological ecosystem, particularly related to the ERP and CRM system functions. The steps created more efficient operations, resource management, and improved project scoping for the organization.
