Nonprofit ERP Selection for a Leading Animal Welfare Organization 

The Story

A leading animal welfare organization, based in the U.S., with programs both domestically and around the world, needed a better accounting software solution to better support its growing international operations, better integrate with its revenue systems, and provide enhanced capabilities for AP process automation, grants management, program financial management, and custom reporting. 

Build Consulting led a software selection process that analyzed key areas of business requirements to narrow the field to two qualified cloud ERP solution providers. We then worked with the client through a competitive RFP and scripted demo process, created a path for clearly distinguishing between vendor approaches based on the requirements. The result was a consensus-based decision on the ERP platform that would provide for the organization’s needs, as well the implementation partner that would be the best fit.
