Technology Assessment and Roadmap for an International Relief and Development Organization
			
	
				The Story
			
	An international relief and development organization facilitating a healthier life in struggling communities reached out to Build for a technology roadmap assessment. The organization acknowledged the disruption of the constituent experience when reviewing siloed technology, difficulty with vendor management, highly customized solutions, and time-consuming integrations. The organization was also challenged with getting staff buy-in and creating clear decision-making policies. Build uncovered the opportunity to define the content management system and the CRM for the organization.
Build’s approach to socializing the technology roadmap findings and recommendations enabled the organization to deeper understand the technological impact and create a mature systems advancement partnership among departments. We were able to construct a vision of how technology fits into a broader view of the organizational strategy, through clarifying realistic resourcing needs and gaps, including understanding the importance of a Project Manager role. Build’s strategy removed interruptions throughout the constituent experience and cohesively defined technology for the organization.
